These people do not deserve to own a business. The GM, Kameron, is the most childish person i have ever met. He has no idea what he is doing and he treats all of his employees like garbage.



I have been Serving at this IHOP for a great deal of time, and i have seen many disgusting things. But we will get to that later. Lets start with the payroll; Servers at this IHOP do not get paid for all of their hours, if you happen to work over 80 hours in one pay period he pays you for 79 to avoid overtime. PErsonally i have worked over 90 hours in two weeks(Including a 12 hour shift and a 13 hour shift and didnt even get 79. If you complain about ANYTHING he cuts your hours down to one day a week until you need to find a new job. Wrongful termination to say the least, i have seen him fire people for calling in sick, i have seen him drive a man to quit because one customer didnt like the food they ordered, Kameron told this server he had to pay for the food because he served it to them.



 Sexist! There are 2 male servers at this IHOP. And that is because they are both the managers sons. I'v asked Kameron why he does not hire male servers and he said that men are too much trouble. Do not get me wrong, the manager whos sons these are is an amazing woman. She has done nothing wrong and doesnt deserve to be in this article.



Inappropriate Management! The night shift manager Stephanie talks constantly about sex and wanting to sleep with all of the customers that she thinks are attractive. She has given out her phone number on duty and has been caught sitting in a booth with an older man that wants to sleep with her. She talks behind everybodys backs and runs to the GM with lies if we do anything she doesnt like. She didnt start out as a server, just straight to manager. She does not deserve this title. She is power hungry and will do anything she can to make her feel like your superior. The GM of course always takes her side in everything no matter what the truth is.



 And now for the part everybody is reading for, the disgusting things. Lets start with all of the condiments, on the bottle "do not refill". We refill them all. Because Kameron doesnt want to spend money on new bottles. I have gone to him with obviously rotten ketchup and he told me to fill it up anyway(I cleaned out the bottle and filled it, to avoid cut hours), but imagine if this happened, how many of the other condiments go rotten. The county fried steak.. We got an email from HQ saying not to serve it anymore because they found "foriegn objects". Kameron considered this lost money and served them anyway. Iv seen somebody order it without the gravy, so one of the cooks wiped it off with a bleach rag, then flipped it over. The Strawberrys, it has been brought to his attention by two servers that the strawberrys tasted very.. off. His exact words "We serve anyway".



Anybody who reads this i hope you never go to IHOP again, atleast not this one.  I would be very happy to bring many of these matters to court, if i had the means. If any lawyers think i have a decent argument make sure to email me. ME and many other servers there will testify to everything in this article.

The IHOP in St. Charles would like to respond to this report made by an ex employee who walked off of his job.  He walked off because he said his schedule for the day was not correct and he could  not stay the remainder of his shift.  He was not fired lets make that clear.

To address the issue with not being paid full amount of hours or overtime.  In weekly meetings employees were asked if they had any issues with their checks that they could come foward in the  meeting or in private.

Everytime this was brought up in meeting the response was always the same...."oh no, i'm fine....I don't have any issues......"  Kameron always had his door open to those who had complaints.  Even In private this individual never showed up.

I  personally Kameron did address issues with pay when brought to him. As for cutting schedules this was something called suspension.  This would happen when any given  employee would not follow rules, have several in house complaints, have excessive tardies or call  offs, when a employee would be found playing on their cell phones are given warnings not to do so
and so forth.  We could write a lot here about past employees wasting company time.

The person making this report forgot to say that his mom WAS the morning crew cheif NOT manager.  As for hiring male servers, this location is not agaisnt hiring male servers and the current hiring  manager would like to let everyone know that men are welcome to apply and they will be considered for employment the same as anyone else applying for a job. As for Stephanie the night time "manager", she is a crew chief not a manager.  Stephanie was  hired on as a server.  She worked at this location for about 3 months before she was given the postition as crew chief.  She was given the position because she had good attendance and good  job performance.

There were a couple of other employees who were very upset that they did not get the position  and felt that they deserved it more than she did.  Some of these employees are still harassing her  even though they no longer are employed at IHOP.  These individuals have close contact with people still working there and the harassment has continued.

 So what did these people do?  They harassed her by stealing her glasses (never returned),  stealing management computer cards and hiding them, making false reports to the corporate office,  making prank phone calls into the IHOP store while she was on duty, pranking her cell phone,  verbablly harassing her, calling her names like "B****",  making false complaints to her boss,  having their own family memebers  taking photos of her while at work, driving by her place of residence,  trying to pit new employees  agaisnt her, physically assaulting her by smacking her so hard on the back that they offending
 individuals hand print stayed on her back for over an hour on two separate occassions, writing  nasty notes with profanity to her and leaving them for her to find,  spreading rumors about her to  customers and other employees and now they use the internet.  Most recently another ex-employee had her friend come in and write up a false complaint about Stephanie ( this was  researched as the complaintents name was left).  How she has put up with this is beyond me.

 If any one has grounds to sue that would be her due to non stop harassment by several  individuals. As for the ketchup, new ketchup bottles are purchased every week. If there is an issue with a bad condiment employees have and were always instructed to throw it  out.  As with any food item that is not quality or fresh.

As for the country fried steak issue, they were taken off of the menu by telling the customer that we were out of the item.  Many  customers may remember that because we did not sell them for over a week as we had to wait for a new shipment.

This IHOP location has made several changes and is always trying to improve on service and quality.  Employees like the ones we've mentioned that are into work drama and harassing other employees are no longer welcome at this IHOP.  The current management is intrested in hiring  people who are mature, responsible and there to take care of the customer.  The current  management would like to address any issues a customer may have.  They are free to contact the  general manager with any legitimate concerns or issues.

I Visited This I hop  im from out of state , if you have a problem with the owner of the company you should go to the labor board ! all I can say is every time Both shift Manment where nice the night one is super with custmers service ! never once talked about sex I seen

other employes gosping and she was working I heard her say more then once you have work to do etc although im thankful they changed the Cook food way better!! every time I was in there you could see the cook eating I counted during my 1 and a half there most visits I seen

him eating something 70% of the time .. when I worked in the kitchen back in high school we knew there was a time to work and a time to eat in the emp areas , i think he should be ashamed of him self !

 no one likes work its called work not fun there are rules im in upper mangment and i would not take that crap from my emp, Thank God I hire emps with values ! i dont put up with liars or gospis !

What have you done?

If you are not being paid for all of your hours go to your local labor board.

If there are health issues contact your local health department.

Because talking about how "childish" someone is would probably hold more weight if you were not acting "childish" in posting this report instead of actually doing something.
