Hoteldiscounts.com is a TRUE RIP-OFF FRAUD
Quick and dirty version of my earlier story: My hotel rate via Hoteldiscounts was $50 more than the actual rate charged by the hotel (had I not gone through the hoteldisounts.com on-line reservation process). There are NO DISOUNTS with this company!
Hoteldiscounts.com is a TRUE RIPOFF, as they are in the business of positioning themselves to the consumer as a "discounter", when in fact they are there to dip into your pockets and profit greatly from their misrepresentation.
Their NASDAQ symbol is "ROOM". Robert Diener is the President and Co-Founder. I would stay far away from this company and make sure your portfolios do not include them.
Pass the word that this company is a terrible hoax on the consumer. It should be illegal to label yourself as a discounter when you in fact have no true discounts available!
Additionally, this will make you leery of trusting any company doing business on the web, rightfully so, but making a bad name for everyone.
