HomEq Servicing Corporation Ripoff Lie, Cheat, Steal Sacramento California
HomEq bought my loan only 2 months after its orignation.
They shorted Escrow by $10,000 over two years, even though the total costs for taxes and insurance during that period were $6,247. The other $4,000 was fines and fees.
They doubled my mortgage payment. They foreclosed. I filed chapter 13. They held my mortgage payment checks for 10, 30 , 60 days. checks bounced (of course) They petitioned for relief of stay from chapter 13 and won (of course) They foreclosed again. I wrote Ken Thompson, Chairman and CEO of Wachovia. He promised help. His help was $4,200 a month payments. We're about to become homeless. Wachovia/HomEq is the most unethical company I have ever dealt with, and it wasn't my choice to do business with them.
