I have been dealing with HomeQ for about two years. They said they were servicing First Union Mortgage accounts. Which first Union is where our Mortgagge is through. No big deal right? Thye have been a pain, They have not got my information right since day one. If its not one thing its a hundred. They charge me for Insurance on the Home when I already have it. Then I have to prove them wrong.

I don't ever get the right credited amount put back. They have put Flood Insurance on the loan so my mortgage amount went up. They have made sure I don't have an equity at all. From made up late charges to things I have never heard of. They never have my statement right. I get about 4 or 5 statements a month. All different.

One day They may be close to the correct amount, 2 days later I get a new statement showing where they(Homeq)has put late charges on for one reason or another. I always pay my late charges as they come due, if I am late. They have never given me credit or took it off the top of the loan. I have decided they are gearing up to try and put the house in default. They threaten all the time. Never have they been able to show my payments. Not one time has a payment been shown on the statement for a credit amount. I couldn't tell you what is paid and what is not.

Except I have wised up and am now keeping track. I am now current. I get a statement today saying I owe $670.39 and the payment due date is 7/01/2003? What the hell is that. Then it says last payment received 08/01/2003. No amount shown! Its like I make a payment and they use it somewhere then say I'm in default. Its crazy. I talked to one girl who was very nice SHOCK about a year ago. I told her I never had this problem when First Union had my account. I always knew where I was. Never in the dark like I am now. She told me She worked for First Union and not HomeQ. She said First Union bought out HomeQ aka Money store. But They are really the same. She said you didn't hear that from me.

She was very nice. She said she was in North Carolina. I said I get calls from all over the country. She said they have the phones set that way so you will never know where its coming from. That day was the first of the month. I complained that I was bugged on the 1st day of the month when my late fee date was the 16th. She said thats how HomeQ aka Money store does it. Start on the first and Bug you to death. I don't get it. They need to be audited. This is just like the Thirties, when the loan sharks came after your butt. In todays world I am totally surprised this is happening. Where is the laws protecting the people? What they have done now is put late charges on my account from 2002 that I paid off.

I did get behind and I had to pay all late charges plus a nsf charge which I admit I did. Now they say I have another one out of the clear blue sky from Last Year. I have only had One check go NSF. It had to be paid before they agreed to let us catch the loan up. I keep getting insurance charges and I pay my House Insurance a year at a time. Try getting them to see that. Its just crazy. My insurance company sends the paper work but they never change the money part of it. Then they said they will give me a credit but not for the first 4 months becasue the insurance company didn't send it right out to them.

That's not my fault talk to State Farm! No Way would they do that. You are always guilty and have to prove to them different. I have lived in this home for 24 years. I have raised my kids here and my grandchildren and we like it here so much I will die here probably. So selling is not an option. They have my credit so screwed up, I could never get a normal interest charge which sucks since the interest is the lowest it has ever been.

If there is ever a class action suit, Please let me know. I have funds they won't give me credit for!!!
