From work at around 9:00am, I went to www.Hallmark.com and selected a paper card & gift-wrapped book to have sent to a former co-worker in the hospital, I also paid an extra $12 to have the gift rush-shipped the next day. About 2 hours after I placed the order I found out that my friend was being released and since I did not have a current home address for her I needed to cancel the order. There was no phone number so I emailed Hallmark and told them to cancel the order, that I would re-order when I had the home address. They emailed me back and said that it was impossible to cancel the order and that I should just tell the hospital to refuse a shipment from Hallmark! I emailed them back and told them that there was no way that the hospital would or could refuse shipment and that I thought they would be able to cancel my order with no problem. Not only did they email me back and say that their orders were just too fast, but they didn't even get my name right! So I just wasted $30.85 and money doesn't grow on any of the trees I own!

The next time I care enough to send the very best, it WON'T BE HALLMARK! With any luck maybe someone will give it to another patient at the hospital who will enjoy it.

Consumer Suggestion: I'M NOT REALLY SUPPORTING THE HALLMARK STORE, I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU IF YOU SEND SOMEONE A GIFT OR CARD THROUGH THE MAIL AT A HOSPITAL, THE HOSPITAL CAN FORWARD THE GIFT OR CARD TO THAT PERSON CAUSE THE HOSPITAL HAS THE ADDRESS, CALL THE HOSPITAL AND ASK THEM TO SEE IF THEY DID THAT FOR YOUR FRIEND'S GIFT.
