I bought an Aficiano refrigerator, by Haier American,  @ ABC Warehouse December 26, 2010.  I did not buy an extended warranty.  The refrigerator stopped working 3 months later.  When I called ABC Warehouse, they told me that the warranty the store carries has expired and I need to call repair.

I called Haier American and they sent out a repairman who told me that I blocked the vents and not to block the vents in the refrigerator.  One month later I had the same problem.  Meanwhile, I'm loosing food and money.  Haier sends out another repairman who tells me I need a part.  It takes several weeks for the part to come back.  They finally installs the part and 2 months later the refrigerator stops working again.  I get the run around for 2 more months and finally was told there was another problem with another part (thermostat) and the part was on back order.  

That part was installed and now the refrigerator is out again.  Another $200 worth of food, down the tubes.  Finally, after having a nervous break down on the phone with Travis, he tells me to email him a copy of the receipt and they will send me another brand new refrigerator.  A week later, no refrigerator!  What can I do?

call the TV stations in your area, notify your state's attorney general, and file a complaint with the BBB.  You may also want to file with the FTC.
