Guild mortgage has more than its fair share of negative reviews on this website and on other websites like Zillow, Google, Yelp.
The branch I had my terrible experience with is located in Rockwall, Texas. Its run by a lady named Crystal Tatum.
The first sign there were problems is that they kept asking me for the same information over and over. They had a different person call me for the same information, and they were rude when I told them that I had previously provided everything multiple times. They gave me multiple credit score ratings and depending on the day, there was a problem with my credit/income and other days, no problem.
I am not trying to be mean or insensitive, but these are not intelligent people. They frustrated me to no end.
Besides phone calls, when we met there in person the lady we met with and the manager Crystal Tatum appeared to very groggy and out of it.
There was an older man in the office that was dressed like a bum but seemed to have the run of the place. He would flirt and harass me. I later found out this creep is the manager's husband, Scott Tatum. He is a well known womanizer and drug head. I was scared when I found out he is also a convicted felon. After weeks of wasting time and pulling my hair out, I looked online and saw so many negative reviews of Guild Mortgage branches and in particular, the Guild Mortgage branch in Rockwall. This and them having a criminal in the office with access to my social security number and banking information led me to not do business there.
I went to another mortgage office and had a wonderful experience.
The manager at Guild Mortgage Rockwall, Crystal Tatum called me wanting do finish my mortgage. When I told her I had already gotten a loan somewhere else and that I was not comfortable with her, her team, or her criminal husband she became very upset and accussed me of being a liar, homewrecker, and that I wanted to have an affair with her husband. I asked her to destroy my paperwork and personal information and she said she wouldn't.
She has gone out of her way to attack me on social media and around town.
She is a crazy, nasty unstable person.
Do NOT do business at Guild Mortgage.

I can't believe crazy Crystal is airing her dirty laundry about her husbands affairs. Ashley is just one of many of his mistresses. He uses drugs to lure in his victims.
Guild Mortgage fired Crystal Tatum and closed that branch office. You can confirm this by going to the address, try calling it, or call the Corporate office.
Crystal was slammed by coworkers and customers on iratemyboss, glassdoor, yelp and joyrate.
Her and her husbands criminal records, mugshots and scandals are on thedirty and cheaterreport.
Their illegal underground gambling scams were in the local Bells Herald Democrat newspaper and Rockwall Sherrif's Report.
Now she works for Caliber Home Loans in Dallas. Already slammed with negative reviews.
No one can figure out how she gets a job. She can't pass a background check. Unless she's stolen another identity, which she has been caught doing. Thats why she shouldn't be in mortgage business. She has access to personnel information making it easy to steal identities.

This is an untrue rebuttal. Ashley oppermann is the person my husband had an affair with and do to him making the decision not to continue the relationship she has gone on all social media website and now this report stating completely untrue information. She is never put an application in to Guild Mortgage, ask for a credit report to be run or gotten any type of loan estimates with interest rates. She is only demonstrating personal Vendetta because she did not get the person that she wanted in the relationship. All information that is stated in here is warranted for a suit of defamation and slander.
