I was hired by Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group, the Owings Mills, Branch in May 2018. I complete over 50 hours of marketing work including website updates, social media management, and other marketing services between May 15- June 15th 2018. I was contact a few days after I submitted my invoice for a W9 form and to provide details of the work completed. I spoke with Ryan Kirch June 28th who told me my invoice would be processed and the check mailed. After a week of no check or any updates I contacted the company again this time the accounts payable department. I was told the company didn't have the money to pay me at the time. This is a fortune 500 company, my invoice was only $1000 and the work to be paid was already completed.

I have sent several emails all to go unanswered, I reached out to the CEO of the company Dan Milestein and got NO response. I did get a few rude emails from Janet McClusky the Chief Financial Officer who expressed to me the company was having financial difficulties and that the branch could have gotten their internal team to do what I did for the branch for free. My company runs on cash flow and nonpayment of this invoice has caused a severe hardship for me.

I have worked with Gold Star Mortgage for almost 2 years assisting with Marketing never had any issues in the past and I don't understand why I have not been paid yet. I have sent about 20 emails and got no response.
