Giantix selling damaged property as "New":

On July 28, 2018, I purchased a 5pc Dining Set on Amazon.com through the Seller Giantix online for $95.99. It was a gift for my daughter's Birthday on August 19. I received the set in an undamaged box. I did not open as it was a gift. On my daughters Birthday I gave her the gift and she was very excited because that's what she needed. She called the next day and said when she took the table out of the box it was bashed in (She sent me pictures). I don't know if at that moment I was more disappointed that the gift my daughter was waiting for and excited about was severly damaged.

I immediately contacted Amazon who claims to have a money back guarantee. Well this only works if the seller cooperates, which in this case they did not and I did not get my money back. My first contact with the seller Giantix was through Amazon.com and they see all communication between the seller and the buyer. Amazon said give seller two business days to respond. I told the Seller I wanted a refund.

The Seller responded in their time and asked me to send pictures of the damage. I did so immediately. I heard nothing from them 4-5 days. I sent another message to the tone of "when are you going to send my Refund? The problem here is every time you send the seller Giantix a message, Amazon gives them two days to respond. (two additional days each time you send them a message.) I believe this is "code" for string them along as long as you can, stall the process until the buyer gives in or gives up.

A few days later I received an email response from Giantix, the asking for pictures again. I sent them again. (see the stall pattern building up, that's two more additional days tacked on to your waiting for a refund. They responded again and asked would I keep the set for use and accept $25 from them. I told them no that was an insult. Why would I buy a damaged product and instead of getting the refund requested, they tell me keep their junk and here's $25.00. Not to mention my daughter has a damaged dinette table for a Birthday gift from her mom and though her Birthday is gone, she is still waiting on her dining set, thanks to Giantix.

At this time, I have no doubt that Giantix is intentionally selling damaged products on Amazon.com and advertising them as "new". I paid $95.99 for a new, undamaged Giantix 5pc Dinette, It was very poor quality like cardboard. I already paid full price so why should I accept $25.00 and they still make a profit of $70.00. This is insane, criminal and clearly consumer fraud.

I want other consumers to be aware of Giantix who clearly without conscience rips off consumers with their false advertising and stall tactics and making profits off inferior and damaged products. Do not shop with Giantix on Amazon.com or any other format online.

consumer beware: Don't be so quick to feel comfy shopping online where people offer Money Back Guarantee. No such thing.  This seller Giantix apparently has no respect for customers or money back guarantee.

I am retired and living on my pension, i can't afford to give or throw away money.  Neither can any of you.  Be fore warned, Do not shop with Giantix on Amazon.com.
