General Motors ripoff, 2000 Malibu piston knock Troy Michigan
My Malibu with the 3.1 liter engine, started having piston slap at 20,000 miles, which scored the cyliders. Under warranty, the dealer replaced the pistons and the problem came back within 10,000 miles. I brought it back to the dealer and they replaced the pistons again. GM says this is normal and refuses to give me a new car or my money back. I have owned GM's all my life, but will never buy another. If there is a class action on this any info would be appreciated.
