Worst experience ever. 1) They don't come prepared. Company asks if you have everything to install about an hour before coming out. When I said no, they asked if they should buy the stuff. Agree because it sounds easier. Find out they have nothing. No wire. No outlets. Not the basic stuff that you would need for any Home Audio job. They charge by the hour

2) Installer then asks for cash and spends way more money than he should. Bought 1000 ft of speaker wire to run cable in a small house (about 60 feet long). Only had to run 4 wires. Probably less than 200 ft. Seems like they should have this on truck instead of having to go by it.

3) Installer comes back 3 hours later with stuff.

4) Takes 7 more hours to run 4 speaker wires and mount 2 in indoor ceiling and 2 more on the patio

5) Installer does terrible job. Didn't get the right outlets so speaker wire is going through wall. Nicked my tile. Put a hole in my ceiling because he doesn't listen to instructions. Tore up ceiling around speaker. Total amateur hour

6) Demand immediate payment when done. When I tell them I would like to speak to the owner because it should never cost that much to run 4 speaker wires. They called the cops.

7) Badgered me for a few more hours until I gave them a payment. They did reduce it a bit, but still way overpriced and just plain terrible job. Going to have to finish it myself Total Amateur hour.

To top it off, I filed some negative complaints online. When the owner saw one of them, he contacted me and we had the following text exchange

Owner: you have him a bottle of water?  Look at all the work you wanted that poor man to do.  Look at all the work he did.  We have your email chains and texts and pictures as proof.  We're not the scumbag you are!! After we were nice enough to dropped your bill you go bad mouth us? What is wrong with you?  You contacted us, we didn't contact you.  You see we do this kind of work because we do TV and Home Theatre installed but when we arrive you wanted tech to go out and do shopping for you like he's your concierge.  You wanted tech to do things outside the scope of work.  You can stop now we will take you to court not only for the disputed amount that we were nice to take off, but also for defamation.  This is how you treat us AFTER we kneel down to your demands of no pay for the service and amount you had agreed upon in writing prior to our arrival?  



Me:  I guess I am not getting an apology

Owner:  If an apology will stop your online attacks against me and my company I can give you one but my company is my livelihood and truly feel we did everything I could do to make an unhappy customer happy that day.

And Again, be reasonable.  It was many hours of tech being on the job that you really don't need to mention anyone since I gave those hours back and you did not pay for them after I applied the discount you had asked for.

Me:  You just don't get it.  I don't feel an apology would be genuine since you don't get it and continue to try to intimidate me.  You shouldn't be in business if this is how you run your organization

Owner:  Your spiteful.  I have nothing more to say to you.  I believe you are working with someone to try to attack my company.

I will pay for good service when I get it.

Recently hired a very good Remodeling Service  to fix up my old house before I sold it.  He did over $20,000 in work for me.  I paid as soon as he asked and went online (to my facebook account) to show everyone what a nice job he did.   It was my 4th big job with him and I never had an issue Same with my realtor.  I didn't pay her directly but I went online to thank her because her service was awesome and she sold my house in less than a month.

On the other hand, look at how this man treats his customers.   I wish I had done my due dilligence before I hired these guys.   It is simply awful service and the owner can't admit it.  How many owner's of a National corporation go online to berate a customer or send them threatening texts?

HERE IS OUR RESPONSE TO JOE BRIATICO 

This is so anyone or any company reading this and who ever have had , have or will soon to have dealings with this man JOE BRIATICO in the future,  know what kind of individual you will be dealing with.

 

This man Joe Briatico of Orlando Florida, contacted our company, asking that we go out and "mount speakers and then connect said speakers to his home entertainment system"

 

We tell him , like we tell ALL customers who we service, that its best they already have any parts needed already with them when our tech arrives, because yes we can provide said parts, BUT  it will cost customer more if we have to sell it to them ( old customers of ours reading this can attest to this we tell ALL our customers)

 

This Joe Briatico from Orlando Florida tells us , quote " you all just provide it , i don’t have time to go out and buy these things and I want to get this done today"

 

HE IS SUCH A d**n LIAR AND THEIF THAT HE ACTUALLY HAS WRITTEN ONLINE THAT IT WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND, THAT WE TOLD HIM ITS CHEAPER FOR HIM IF WE BUY IT AND SELL IT TO HIM! I KNOW OUR CUSTOMERS READING THIS ARE THINKING TO THEMSLEVES HOW THIS MAN JOE BRIATICO TRULY IS A LIAR AND THIEF SINCE ALL OUR CUSTOMERS KNOW WE ACTUALLY HAVE A SCRIPT WE TELL EVERYONE, THAT ITS CHEAPER IF THEY GET THE PARTS INSTEAD OF US SELLING IT TO THEM

 

This man Joe Briatico is such a d**n liar and thief that he actually has written online that it was the other way around!!! That it was us who told him that its cheaper for him if we provide the parts and or sell him the parts ourselves!!! Any old customers of ours reading this right now can attest that we always tell customers that parts come out cheaper for them if they buy the parts themselves BEFORE we arrive.

 

Our tech arrived on time and as scheduled. When our tech arrives, Joe Briatico tells our tech to go out and buy these different parts for all the work he wants done, which was substantially more work then what he first had told us and described when he contacted us to go to his home and provide our services.

 

Joe Briatico gives tech money to buy parts, our tech reluctantly goes out to buy these extra things that no one was expecting him to ask for, things like wooden pegs from home depot,...this guy Joe Britaico was treating a highly technical service company as if we were some construction workers, or his personal concierge. When Joe Briatico from Orlando Florida  first described his problem, he didn’t mention we would have to deal with buying parts from home depot. Our tech returns with said parts and continues the installation. This was an install that required a lot of work, it was running wires, he even asked us to drill into his wall, and tech had to spend more time on a ladder and outside digging to install pegs then the actual install of speakers into entertainment system that customer had first described and asked us for.

 

When all is said and done, tech had been there 10 hours, without eating, without water (correction, this cheap Joe Briatico later texted me that, quote,  “I HAD TO GIVE HIM A BOTTLE OF WATER”)

Joe Briatico has never said the job wasn’t done or completed, what ensues after the work was done and what happens next are the acts of a swindler, and shyster who knew he couldn’t afford , or ever intended to pay for the hours of work, but was already planning to not pay. When tech is done, and it’s time for Joe Briatico to pay, you know what Joe Briatico does?

HE THROWS OUR TECH OUT THE DOOR AND SLAMS THE DOOR BEHIND HIM! Our tech barely had enough time to grab his tools , and almost left them inside the house . Joe Briatico started getting calls from both our tech and our office, knocking on his door and calling his phone. He would not open the door,  and he wouldn’t pick up our calls , and only picked up once to say " IM NOT PAYING ANYTHING"

 

If that’s not theft of services , i don’t know what is.

 

This shyster was truly going to not pay us at all for all the work our tech had done!

 

At this point what did we do? We called the police on him!

 

The police arrives, and only after he sees that the police is there, and he’s about to be exposed for the lying shyster that he is, he finally picks up our calls and tells us what he’s going to pay.....look at that,...after agreeing in writing to our service and our price before we drove out there, this THIEF is telling us what he feels like paying!

 

I finally got on the phone with Joe Briatico from Orlando Florida, and tried to reason with him. This Joe Briatico from Orlando Florida was only trying to pay for 2 hours of service!!! After our tech had been working for him for 10 hours!!!!

Sending our tech to go make purchases for him, having our tech do construction work!!

He was only going to pay 2 of those 10 hours!!!

I remained calm, and we finally agreed on his paying for 6 of the 10 hours.

He agreed to it, and we thought that would be the end of that, and so we immediately we placed him on our black list of customers to never service again unless they pre pay.

 

This shyster has now started to bad mouth us online!

IMAGINE THAT,..after we give him a $400 discount, after we tell the police to not charge him with "theft of services", after he had our tech working for 10 hours of construction work and home renovations, when he knew were an IT repair and TV install company,....this lying shyster has now taken it upon himself to bad mouth us online.

 

This here is written for any and all people who ever sign an agreement with Joe Briatico, anyone who is ever hired to do work for Joe Briatico , anyone who is ever done wrong by this lying person....you now know what kind of person you are dealing with, it’s rare for us to write like this about a customer , but this here is a special case, since he is one of very few customers who over the last 10 years have gone online to bad mouth us, after thousands and thousands of good customers serviced over the years, it pains me to see there are still criminal minded people like Joe Briatico that are so cold hearted as to not only have us work for hours, taking advantage of the fact we don’t ask our customers for payment or payment info until the job is done,...takes advantage of this fact to attempt a ": theft of services" against us. After we cut the price in half, take a hit and lower his bill in an attempt to make him happy,…he still comes on here to bad mouth us.

BEWARE, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JOE BRIATICO
