I called Frontier Communications to do a simple service address change and order a modem. The phone call lasted 124 minutes.
A week later, the modem had still not arrived. I called Frontier again and the rep said the modem had been delivered that morning. I asked for a tracking number and it turns out the rep had completely ignored the date and was referring to an item that had shipped 7 months prior.
I asked for the modem to be shipped overnight and for a tracking number. An hour later, I was told the item would be shipped overnight by "UPS Ground" - and had to spend several minutes explaining to the incompetent rep that UPS Ground was not an overnight shipping option.
Finally, I had to contact an executive at the company just to get a modem shipped - 9 days after it had originally been ordered.
On top of all that - Frontier's highest internet tier offered in my area is 3Mbps (which normally ends up being about 1/4th that speed.)
Frontier is a terrible company that will never improve unless there is competition. I hope Google Fiber or a similar service puts this company out of business soon.
