I contacted a Frontier representative after seeing a circular left at my residence. I was told that I could get a speed of 40 mg for 44.95/mo. The installer however told me I could only expect a speed of 27 mg at the most. when I got my bill, the charge was for 54.95/mo. Furthermore the free installation advertised did not include a $12.00/mo charge for s&h of the modem.the usual Internet speed I was getting was 12mg. I called and stopped service on Nov 21st. Two days ago I received a bill that covered the time I was with the company as well as an additional charge for December. When I called customer service, the representative did reverse the charges for December but refused to rectify the difference in what I was quoted and what I was charged.he stated that the rates and sLeeds were shown on the website. When I told him I signed up through a sales representative not the website it made no difference. Since the actual charge was more than I was already paying for my internet service, I never would have signed up with Frontier if the actual rate had been quoted. In short, I wound up paying more for a slower speed and nobody is willing to adjust my bill because of the misleading quote I received.
