Ford Motor Co Lincoln Division $ 800. 00 18 Spoke Chrome Rims on Towncar has the aluminum wheels corroding and the chrome separating from the aluminum. Dearborn, Michigan
My 2006 Lincoln Towncar Designer has the 18 spoke chrome rims. The aluminim that the tire is seal to has corroded, causing slow air leaks on the wheels. The warranty will not cover this default on the rims. Lincoln will not admit that the 18 spoke chrome rims are a danger. Once the air is so low the sealed tire goes completely flat immediately. No warning.
