First National Credit says you I was approved even after I found the rip off report on a web search .....
I was searching the web to check on companies for credit cards. I had recevied many mailings for various cards when I ran across the rip off from 2 mailings received one in January 2002 and the next July 2002 both same days (17). I am in a financial jam and figured I would see what was out there for a small loan even by a card.
I saw the rip off warning and here was this big deal company sending people hope by their wonderful letter Ha Ha. I knew it was to good to be true. The old saying is if it is to good to be true it usually is. Just like one other lady said the same. Good thing we had good parents to tell us that. I almost fell for it because of the second mail notice. They have their letter so prfessional you can see how some like me could almost fall victim to a scam when you need financial help for a small amount.
I have another letter that I am not sure of either FNBM (First National Bank of Marin ) Visa Gold Approval Guaranteed I have lost the bottom mail in with the address. Now with $49.00 you can get a card Starting with $800.00. When you call they are not very helpful except to tell you you have to mail the $49.00 in and you can not do it over the phone or on the computer. Whats up with that. How are us consumers supposed to know who is who any more?
