After extremely poor customer service from dealer Pikes Peak Acura, I am now battling with First Extended Warranty to honor the nearly $2,000 extended warranty I purchased and have yet to be able to use!  They base their determination of coverage on whether the customer can figure out and use the exact terminology that suits them.  They ignore the reality of the function and purpose of the part; they ignore the fact that a certified mechanic confirms that the part is an INTREGAL part of a covered item.

The rear suspension has a hydraulic mount that is leaking.  The only way to repair it is to replace the entire suspension component.  The component's name is "cross member assembly" which apparently doesn't fit their terminology matrix, yet is part of the rear suspension.  The word "suspension" is listed as a covered item.

Based on the fact that those individuals making decisions on what is covered and what is not, fail to possess even the basics of mechanics, or the thought processes, common sense or logic to understand the obvious.

It is sad to think with all the government control over the most ridiculous matters, that they allow innocent people become victims left to fight the battle for fairness.  Is there no ethics today?  Lesson learned, don't trust anyone and certainly never, never, never ever by an extended warranty!

After several emails and conversations with First Extended, the local rep agreed to send out their inspector to confirm the covered repair.  The inspector was able to inpsect the car within the next day or so and confirmed the repair was covered as a part of the suspension.  The repair is scheduled for this week.
