This company ripped me off twice. I used them for credit card processing and they charged my account several times without authorization in excess of $1,000. Chris Gumino was my rep and when I asked him abou the charges he said he would get back to me and never did. The also charged my account under the name Plaitnum Merchant First ACH but they are the same company. If any one has any info on this company please foward it to me. I am contacting the attorney generals office and law inforcement. Any info on them would be of great help.

 I run a bed and breakfast. I went over all my needs with Chris gamino - Who happens to be my sons football coach which is most upsetting. He even spoke to my IT guy. To summarize. I am out of almost $700.00 and have been told by him I was going to be refunded. He set me up for 9 terminals which is absolutely insane since all I needed was one account for people to log into in order to process payments on an iPad for hotel stay.

I still have not been refunded. I am also being threatened of collections. Problem is I can’t get a hold of anyone - I called left messages and no one at their department will call back in their retention department. I guess that’s where you need to go ??? Now I have emailed Chris weekly but it’s a new lie every time.

He told me I failed to do some PCI compliance and that he then would be kind enough to do it for me - This was a yearly fee. Truth is they tried to pull again and when I talked to someone they said no this is monthly and in fact none of yoir terminals have been cancelled nor refunded. I was able to stop the second withdrawal.

I am still waiting for the refund and yet nothing. So here is the situation like I said I think the most embarrassing is that I trusted someone like him. I believed not in a million years would a resident of my own community and a coach on Elmhurst eagles take advantage of someone like this but after having some conversations with other residents it’s not surprising now.

At the end of the day $700.00 won’t break our family but the principal that this is someone we consider coaching our kids but the same time is ripping off their parents is to me just absolutely shameful. I scanned over 45 of his email communications and I am willing to share with anyone who is interested in pursuing this company in order that they stop. The emails are a bit comical not sure how many different stories this guy can come up with but I am sure the rest of you have more ! I can be reached at(630) 777-8204

He claims he refunded the money he stole from my account with out my permission and then plced me in collections. Stay away from Chris Gumino and his bettermerchantaccount.com nothing but trouble.

MERCHANT WAS CHARGED FOR % CREDIT CARD TERMINALS THAT HE DID NOT USE AND DID NOOT RETURN. MERCHANT PROMISED TO RETURN EQUIPMENT AND WE REFUNDED ALL MONEY THAT WAS CHARGED TO CUSTOMER
