Fingerhut corp Fingerhut corp they are keeping my acct unpaid for stuff I sent back and now I can't get a loan for a car ripoff St Cloud Minnesota
I would like for Fingerhut to close my account and quit making my credit bad because I sent them back their stuff and they don't have it. It is not my fault they didn't get it I sent it to them in their box that it all came in they are saying I owe them over 900.00 I don't feel I owe them anything
I also have lost my card and told them that when it was lost they say they never got a call. So if they have stuff that I "bought in the past 4 yrs I didn't do it. They didn't put it in the comp that my card was lost and that too is not my fault.Why should my credit be bad because they messed up or the postal service didnt return their stuff?

It is nessesary to Fallow up your phone call with written letters ( keep a copy of everything ). Also make sure you RETURN the merchandise as detailed in the return instructions. If i recall there is a form also you fill out and put in the box with the mercandise.You should keep ( copies ) of these return forms and lables - filled in of course,and although if not sent certified - keep the shipping charges if you pay one,( postal receit ). I always called Fingerhut to send me a postage pd. lable to return items so I didn't have to pay it. If you fail to do any of the above your asking fot trouble like yors, because Fingerhut/Axsys uses EVERY OPPERTUNITY to take advantage of consumers..... If you have any proofs you sent these items back and that of your notifying them regarding your card,call the attorney generals office ( consumer affairs ),.Have them send you a complaint form to fill out ( send copies of proofs ),and send it to them.Also if you have proofs,and if Fingerhut/axsys reported negatively to CRAs,write them with complaint and proofs to get the neg. reports removed.. Good luck..
