Fidelity Financial Incorporated Aceto Corporation This company atttempted to scam me out of money by sending me a check for lottery winnings but wanting money up front from me OUT of the check first Los Angeles California
This company sent me a check for 2,350.00 as a processing fee, for my lottery winnings of 250.000. My instructions were to call a particular telephone number on the letter and NO ONE else, to activate the check. Further directions on the letter stated once the check was activated, I was to cash or deposit it and a courier would be sent to my home with my winnings. When they arrived, I was to give them 1850.00 of the 2350.00 check that was sent to me for processing fee, and I could keep the 500.00 as part of the winnings.I knew it was a scam immediately, and did NOT call the number or person they told me to call. It was easy to see it was a scam, by the letter telling me NOT to call any other number but what they instructed me to call. The other red flag was even though the check was drawn off of a J.P. Mprgan Chase Bank account, the routing number had only EIGHT figures, and all US banks have NINE routing numbers on their checks. This bank's address was in Great Neck, NY. It would seem these people would be shut down by now, as I see reports back to 2014. I pray they get caught soon, as they may target some people who do not recognize them as being a scam.
