Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We had purchased on July 18th, 2018 a 2015 Ford F-150 from this location in North Brunswick New Jersey. waiting there for hours for the bank to approve us, we were finally able to leave with New Jersey temporary plates. We reside in New York, and I had told the salesman that we wanted to just switch over our plates but he had already "did the paperwork." We were getting close to not having our permanent plates come in the mail like he had promised, so I had called up and we were told that they would get it overnighted because it was mandatory for him to have a working vehicle to get to work. They ended up overnighting it to us the beginning of August another temporary registration and temporary plate for New Jersey. I was under the impression our real plates were being overnighted. The temporary plate and temporary registration are up September 6th. However, today August 18th I received a letter dated August 13th from Cornerstone United stating that our application that was submitted by our dealer was not fully funded by the dealer. So now our application is deemed void and as a result no claims nor cancellation request will be honored under the terms and conditions of the application. It also says that all the times to collect the funds for the application have been exhausted additionally a demand letter requesting payment has been sent to the dealer if payment is received within the next 10 business days the application will be reviewed for acceptance and if we did not complete an application for warranty to notify Cornerstone directly. I had tried calling two different phone numbers, because they had changed the first one to another number which was an automated phone number. Now I found a sales consultant business card, and called their cell phone listed. Apparently, the sales consultant I spoke with said the business is no longer active, and he no longer has a job with them because they failed to tell the managers and other workers that they were going out of business. I was advised that I should get an attorney and that so many people have been having issues getting their actual plates on the vehicles they're purchasing. Help!!! Thankfully for this prior consultant, he had provided to me the Ripoff Report. I have contacted Cornerstone and left two voicemails with the information. I now have to go to an attorney that I know, which I'm not sure if you will be able to help since we are in New York and the dealer is in New Jersey. I am disgusted, as we were trying to be open-minded, and understanding of a small business. I was also told by DMV in the past when we first had our first temporary plates for this truck, that I had to wait for the dealer in New Jersey to finish the paperwork so it would be processed for the DMV to give us plates and that there was nothing the DMV could do about it. I will be contacting the bank, attorney general, an attorney, Better Business Bureau, etc. I have all the paperwork, and I also found out that now the "floorplan" is supposed to be paid for when the bank pays the dealer it is the Dealer's responsibility to pay the "floorplan" and he possibly never did, hence Cornerstone's letter. Anyone have further advice??? Help!!
