Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

On the Saturday evening of November 21, 2020, my wife and I decided to visit “Epic” theatre in Titusville, Florida. As we walked inside to an empty lobby, we could see local teenage possibly early twenty year old employees sitting at a table together but trying to quickly put on their masks.

As we looked through the options on their computer ticket service, one of these employees accosted us and demanded that we “wear a mask”, in an aggressive tone. I tried to explain to this employee that I had a medical limitation and I could not wear his mask.

The employee responded rudely and aggressively in a southern hick voice as he pointed out the door “ HEAD ON OUT”.

We could see that his management must have emboldened him to present such an unprofessional and ignorant face to potential customers.

It is not a requirement that from the State of Florida’s Governor ( Desantis) that the public wear masks, nor is it a mandate in Brevard county.

This theater management is trying to impose these mask requirements regardless of any medical limitations, even though they were not personally wearing them either when we came in. Nor were they “socially distancing” from each other.

Somehow this institution has come to believe that they have the right to make up their own laws like a independent Sovereign nation. No!  They are sadly mistaken and ignorant.

Imagine if a business were to say “ You can pick pocket in here” or “beat people up” in here since this is a private business. NO !  The reality is that they are subject to the laws of the land, not their own laws.

No private business offering service to the public ( public accommodation) has the authority to deny entry or service based on your disability.  In addition, they do not have the authority to violate our civil rights.

This hpocrisy  and ignorance by Epic Theater employees does not suspend our civil rights or the constitution.

All the big box stores ( Sams Club, Walmart, Public) have been legally challenged by formal notice and in court on these issues and have since relaxed this experimental imposition of masks. This is why today when you go in, masks are not demanded as a prerequisite for entry.

Even a modest research effort can demonstrate that these masks do not protect you from a virus ( 20 nanometers)  that easily passes through these cloth coverings.

The fact that the owners and management of “Epic” Theaters are willing to make such demands on the public in abject ignorance of the law and science speaks volumes about them. Sending out a rude and aggressive hick to chase away customers should alert everyone to seek other entertainment options.

I will never be back to visit this theater in the future.  No doubt others have had similar experiences. If they go out of business permanently, it will have happened by their their own hand.

Stand up America ! Vote with you feet !  We do not need to accept this type of abuse.

Responding to the Tyrants at Epic Theater in Titusville Florida

Tyranny is exercised when petty officials try to exercise power beyound their authority.

This guy at Epic Theater is trying to demand and impose this experimental medical intervention ( Masks) even though they definitely do not have this authority.

The Govenor can do this as an "Emergency" but certainly not for months and months. Any local tyrant cannot exceed their authority and make arbitrary demands that contradict existing law.

A theater or restaurant is a place of  "public accomodation" and therefore you are required to follow the law in these places, not your own made up rules. You are sadly mistaken and ignorant.

The fact that we saw you on the way in putting your masks on, shows that you do not do this yourselves. This is typical of tyrants. They try to  impose these restrictions but never really do it themselves. Hypocrite!

Our civil rights matter !      The law and US constitution is not suspended inside of the theater.

Just a few hundred feet from your door, you can visit the local restaurants that have plenty of cusomers and most have decided to not wear masks.

I realize that you do not read much, but for those that read this review, consider the book by Dr Judy Mikovits ; "The Case Against Masks ", and you will learn that long hours in a mask will depress your immune system.  Even knowing this some local stores enforce this on their employees, imagining that it is virtuous.

Nonetheless, becuse you have elected to continue in your ignorance and rude manner, so you can be sure that many, just like us, will never support your business under any circumstances. There are many options we can choose.

You need to understand exactly who is paying and who is serving.

Get on Board with the Program

Sun, November 22, 2020

A private business has the right to require shoes, shirt, mask, etc. at any time. That includes a time when there is no pandemic. Businesses have an obligation to protect their employees and customers. A business has the right to deny service to customers that fail to observe their mandated policies.

Your refusal to wear a mask is foolish and inconsiderate. Theatres are the most dangerous place to visit during a pandemic. This isn't about disability; it's about public health safety. We are all inconvenienced by this pandemic. Deal with it and get with the program or stay home.
