I ordered a FREE trial of a skin care product offered on Facebook "as seen on Shark Tank". While placing the order, after I inputted my credit card information, I was offered a 2nd product but there was no way to deline it. Although I did not accept it, it came with the product I ordered. After using both products I immediately noticed that neither product performed as advertised, so I decided not to order more.
A month later I received another shipment of both products which provoked me to check my credit card statement. Sure enough I had been charged $109 by SkinRated and $103 by Endless Beauty Care.com. I called the number on my statement and asked for a RMA number. I was offered a 70% refund on each and was told to keep the products. After adamantly saying I did not want the products the representative "spoke to his supervisor" and I was eventually offered a full refund.
I asked for and was granted a confirmation number for the cancellations, and seperate emails confirming both full refunds. I have been told it would take 3-5 business days for my card to be credited. I insisted on waiting on the line until I recieved each email so I now have it it writing. Note: There was no "small print" indicating I would be billed monthly or that I had agreed to join any club.
