Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We used Elite's Auction services in March of 2009. Their sales person, Stephanie, stated that they are a retail auction house that provide their services to dealers with aged or excess inventory or individuals looking to get rid of a products. She then provided us with a list of identical items that sold in the previous month as a sample of what our merchandise would sell for in their auction. Elite Auction then sent their trucks to pick up our merchandise for transport to TN at no cost to us. The day of the auction, our products sold for approximately 40% below dealer cost, causing us to sustain a substantial loss.

IN MY OPINION THIS IS NOT A RETAIL AUCTION NO MATTER WHAT THEY MAY CLAIM TO BE. Do not enter into a contractual agreement with these individuals. There is nothing to stop them from doing to you what they have done to us once you have entered into a binding agreement with this company. In my opinion this is a legalized scam of sorts. They tell you what you want to hear and provide you with evidence to support their claims, and then provide you a contract that eliminates any obligation to adhere to the verbal promises or claims that their sales staff offers you. Tony Hitt will even tell you that he has nothing to do with the claims that his sales staff makes, and that he just sells what they bring him. If we behaved as irresponsibly as that in our business we would be under constant legal action from irate customers and under investigation for participating in deceptive business practices. Since when is the owner of a business not responsible for the actions or statements of the staff that represents his / her business? Doing business with them is like swimming in shark infested waters; it's not a matter of if you'll get bitten, it's a matter of when. And if you have already been duped like we have.... don't rely on any help from the assistant Mary... She'll either ignore your calls or send you on a desolate trail somewhere chasing your own tail.

Watch your step with this one.

First of all I would strongly urge ALL SELLERS to research BOTH sides of this report. Please call with any and all questions concerning the PROS VS. CONS of the auction process. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will a seller be mislead or fed false information reguarding the sale and or process of the ultimate sales price at an open ended public auction. For any seller to claim so would be completely misleading! Please understand the nature of our business due to the large volume of inventory sold 1-4 MILLION EVERY 30 DAYS!(Literally thousands of SELLERS per year) It would be OBSURD to think that every seller would be satisfied with their sales price given the terms (no guaranteed final sales price) Unfortunately due to this volume www.eliteauctionsales.com and the sellers EXPECTATIONS not always lining up with what the PUBLIC considers A FAIR PRICE.These situations will always arise. Again research the Largest auctions in the world for that matter the largest companies in the world and tell me that there have not been dissatisfied customers! If you really want to get technical given the amount of complaints reported vs. amount of sellers per 10 years in business we are talking like 1/10 of 1/8 of less than 1% of our sellers felt as if they were treated unfairly. When the truth of the matter is in most cases the asking price or expectations of the seller far out weigh the willingness of the buyers to pay said amount. Which again is not in our control. Trust me when I say the MORE IT SELLS FOR THE MORE THE AUCTION MAKES if EPSA would benefit from a higher sales price than reports such as this one just dont add up. This was a clear example of a seller unsatisfied with the final sales price which was ultimately determined by the public NOT EPSA. As mentioned before we want the inventory to sell for more hence the no reserve policy IT DOES PRODUCE MORE QUALIFIED BUYERS PERIOD. CAUTION:When you bring an item to ANY auction you should look carefully at the current market for that type of item. Again folks come watch this sale call references do everything you can to better understand the good and the ugly at ANY auction .We DO NOT DETERMINE what someone will be willing to pay for your item !What we do is serve as a platform for buyers and sellers to come together once a month to buy and sell like items. Again this process works well when the seller has an item that that holds desire in the publics eye PERIOD . Obviously some people fall short in that area but there are thousands of others who dont and you the seller can speak to some of them anytime just ask.Come watch! Call references! You will see what realistic others see. An opportunity for you to place your item in front of thousands of BUYERS and hopefully with the HELP of EPSA we can achieve a sales price satisfactory to both the buyer and the seller!
