Earthlink-Mindspring DSL ISP ... no customer service
The Earthlink-Mindspring DSL service is Horrible. If you want DSL, stick with Bell Atlantic. Mindspring told me that they would schedule an appointment for installation a month after I called them. they cancelled and rescheduled 5 times, and each of those times someone had to stay home and wait for them to come. And during the summer I broke my leg, and the appointment was scheduled for that day. So I asked my friend to stay home for me, and the still din't come.
Finally I got sick of it and called them to cancel their service. Even afterI canceled they kept calling and scheduling appointments. My advice - DO NOT EVEN TRY CALLING EARTHLINK-MINDSPRING FOR DSL SERVICE. IN ADDITION TO ALL OF THESE HASSLES, EVERY TIME YOU CALL THEM THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR (NOT EXAGGERATED).
