I just posted my story in another rebuttal. I made a mistake and said that I had gone to the Drive Time in Torrance but it was actually in Van Nuys. I was fortunate enough to see that something was fishy. I was not having a good feeling after I test drove two usless "automobiles." I think that everyone that has dealt with or have been scammed by these awful human beings need to get together and warn anybody that is desperatly going to Drive Time with the thought that these people care and can help them. I am so proud of myself for finally listening to my gut feeling and getting out of their without a piece of junk, but other's might just be in such dyer need for this car that they will just go for it. How do businesses like this keep operating? We need to do something!!! We need to notify everyone that this company is the scum of the earth. For those employees that work there, I can only say that you should be prepaired for what's coming to you, it may be that it's only a job to you, but you are indangering the life's of other human beings and for you to be able to lay your head on that pillow every night and not feel some remorse for the thousands of people that you rip-off everyday is unbelievable. We all have to eat, but should we take the safety and life's of another to do so? How much can you really be making. Is it worth it? Well, Karen at Drive Time had to drive me home in her new Saturn SUV. Thank God, they couldn't get me financed that night. Thanks for the ride back to piece of mind, that's all your good for. PLEASE BE AWARE OF DRIVE TIME'S SKEEMING WAYS, THEY ONLY WANT YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS AND IN RETURN YOU GET A LIFETIME OF PAIN AND SUFFERING. I AM TRULY SORRY FOR ALL OF THOSE THAT GOT TAKEN BY THESE HEARTLESS INDIVIDUALS. YOU WILL PERSEVERE!!!! YOU ARE NOT THE ONE AT FAULT.

7/12/04 Here is a bit of infomation to add to the pot!!!!! I went into DriveTime in Van Nuys to take advantage of the buy down( you have 30 days after buying your car to come into the office and put down more money to lower your interest rate and bi-weekly car note.)as discussed with Delita, manager and a salesman named Scott. Delita gave me in writing a proposal of my new car payment if I brought in the said amount of money. After making my buy I get a new payment amount letter which is a few dollars and some cents more.....I know this because I can add number and read too!!!! I immediately called Delita to inform her of the mistake I thought... Delita told me to call Customer Service knowing that they would not beable to assist me with my situation. So, I called Customer Service that department told be that I needed to speak with Delita,....imagine that!!! Again I'm being bounced around like an empty ball. This is how DriveTime treat any problem that they encounter. No ones the right person to speak with and they transfer you around the world and back until you are sick and tiered of the crap and hang-up. Do not believe anything those people at DriveTime tell you even if they put it in WRITING !!!! Now Delita is trying to tell me that the proposal that she said she didn't give me, but I have in my hand. Is just an estimate of the car payment after I buy down. That is totally a bunch of *(-#.... The same system used in calculating my first payment plan is the same system Delita used to figure out the buy down calculations. So, will DriveTime tell me after I've given them their last schedule payment that I still owe them for the vehicle....we will have to wait and see...to be continued.... I will again seek the advise of legal representation to resolve this matter. It's not the money it's the principle( wait is is the money !!). DriveTime is telling me one thing, writing another and will tell any fabrication of a lie to make themselves come out on top. I will not stand by and allow those crooks at DriveTime to rape me! If I had to do it all over again I would never had walked into the office at DriveTime! By the way Delita's last dumb comment was it's just a few dollars over. I said to her then you pay it. Of course I didn't get a response. If a class lawsuit is brought up against DriveTime you can count me in. It's not fair what the do and it seems like it's nothing you can do about it without and attorney.... Til we me again!!

I too have been had by DriveTime. I posted my issue with DriveTime to this site on 5/26/2004 2:15:00 PM. (pls read) Due to Their negligence, My children and I were almost killed and the problem still hasn't been corrected and they are treating me like crap. I would like to be contacted regarding DriveTime complaints because I would like to file a classaction law suit against them. Also...we can't just complain here. Everyone who has been a victim of DriveTime needs to file formal complaints to the General Attorney's Office, DMV the BBB and even their local Chamber of Commerce. I'm not sure if they will allow me to use my email address here...but I hope that they do. They really need to be stopped.
