DOGG Digital ripoff,total scam, guys in a van selling overstocked awesome speakers that is not the case they sucked me in good consumer fraud ripoff Newport Beach California
I was approached by some guy in a van saying they had a great deal for speakers that were over $2000.00 and they would give them to me for $700.00.
I asked where they got them from and it was overstock from a shipment right there I should have known I was getting screwed. I gave them the $700.00 because I was looking for a system anyways figured this was a good deal, these guys are good they scammed me pretty good.
The description of the Van and the guy who sold me the speakers:
Red Chrysler Minivan (paint is peeling off)
BC plates
1 guy, short puggie, wearing a white t-shirt, mustache like growth on his face, brownish hair balding, 25-30 years old, white male.
Well, I went on the interent to look for the company that makes these speakers a went to there website no where does it have contact info www.doggdigitalaudio.com so I looked a bit further and found the number from another report on getting ripped off. I called and spoke to a lady by the name of Kelly who was very rude I explained my sicuation and I wanted the mailing address so I could send in a complaint she refused to give me any info she said if I purchased DOGG speakers I would have all the info needed.
She told me the DOGG speakers aren't sold in Canada I explained well whom ever you sell them too in the states is sending them here. I asked her of a list of stores that carry the product and she refused to give me there information.
