directv is charging me for a month after i called 2 times and sent written notice to cancel. on 5/13 and 5/16 i called to cancel and on 5/16 2016 i sentwritten notice to cancel. they arecharging me for 5/16 thru 6/16 2016. they will not responde to my notices about my previous account except to threating me if i dont pay the 100 dollars that is involved. inaddition they were very rude to me when i tried to tell them i had already cancelled. this is a company  that is screwing a lot of people and they need to be stopped. james

 Many years ago, I was told by a friend don't make the customer feel like they got bent over when you handed them a bill. Another friend told me if you can't sleep at night and worry about how you treated a customer. Then you did something wrong and should correct it. The Cable Industry doesn't worry or care who the cheat anymore. So if they don't want to make the customer happy I will, by taking down the dish and installing aTV Antenna. If they happen to have an IPTV device I will install that also. It's funny back in 1994 at a DirecTV meeting , they said we need you C-Band Dealers. Now in 2016 you need customers also if DirecTV wants to stay in business.
