Tom I feel that it is time for me to help you with this bad car dealer. Tom I call myself "The Great Thorn" for a good reason. I would like you to try this. Go to google.com or lycos.com and type in RIP OFF and hit search. You will see how fast the Rip Off Report comes up. First, If I were you, would never pass out your credit info to anybody over the internet. God only knows who will have access to your credit info and what they will do with it before or after a car deal. If Toyota Motor corp lets car dealers do what has happend to you, I would not trust Toyota Motor Corp ether. Now concerning your lease agreement with this bad Toyota dealer. I feel that they did what is called a "Spot Delivery" This is where the desk manager or the sales manager told the salesman to get you to sign all of the first half of the papers and for him to get you into what car dealers call "The Box" The finance office so the F&I guy can take his turn at having his way with you. I am willing to bet that this "Programed F&I Shark" tryed to sell you everything under the sun, like credit life disability Ins, maybe an overpriced extended warranty or an way over priced alarm system. Here in Arizona the "Programed F&I Sharks" Like to sell what they call "The Desert Protection Package" The DPP is nothing more then a way for the car dealer to bend over the suckers and take more money and give then a big fat NOTHING! I feel that this car dealer Knew that they could not get you the deal they had you sign. They just wanted to take you off of the car buying market and let their F&I guy have time to find a way to strucure a car deal that made the most profit for the car dealer. Sometimes car dealers will call you back to the dealership after you have had some time to fall in love with the new car and have had time to show it to your friends and co-workers. Then the deception comes in to play. The car dealer's GSM will have the F&I guy call you and say to you "hey Tom How do you like your new truck, Then he will say to you "When can you come down and finish off the bank's documents? What he is really saying is "Hey Tom My boss told me to call you and try to sucker you into comming back to the dealership and let us re-contract you so we can bend you over and get more money out of you, What time can you come back to the dealership? I need to let the F&I guy know what time you are comming so he has time to find the KY JELLY, So what time are you comming down here? Tom F&I guys never want you to read the buyer's contract before you sign it, If you do read all of the "REAL FINE PRINT" On the back side you will read all of the "LOOP HOLES" that are in the car dealer's favor. Trust me they have many ways to get out of a car deale that does not work for them, But you have nothing in your favor except an over priced car in your driveway that is loosing you money everyday. It really angers me when I find that a car dealer wants to become a pain in the buyer's A HOLE when it comes time to return the buyer's down payment after a car deal falls apart. When it comes to the "MONEY FLOW" they only want a "ONE WAY PIPE LINE" and that is in their direction. The car dealer could have had you sign all of the paper work and you go home without the truck. At this time, the car dealer could have had the F&I department send the documents to Toyota Finance or what ever bank that they thought they could get to do the deal, then have you come back and take the new truck home after the deal was APPROVED? I will tell you why they did not want to do the deal this way,. The wanted to "TAKE YOU OFF OF THE CAR BUYING MARKET" so their "Trained Lot Sharks" could chew you up and spit you off of their lot after they were done. This is a sure way for a car dealer to prevent you from buying a car from a car dealer down the street. Tom If I were you my friend, I would go to your local credit reporting agency and prove you were turned down for the car loan and get your FREE COPY of your credit report. You will more then likly find that this car dealer has "FIRED a SHOT GUN" to your credit report. This does your credit no good at all. Hey Tom ask yourself this question. What do these web sites do for car dealers? www.jeffsacksandassociates.com www.stukertraining.com www.paulcummings.com www.nationalautotraining.com www.tewart.com www.joeverde.com www.grantcardone.com Tom come back to your Rip Off Report and post what you think the above list of web sites do for car dealers. I also feel that if I were you I would send a copy of your Rip Off Report to Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc. Department H200 19001 S. Western Avenue Torrance, CA 90509 310-468-4000 Toll free: 1-800-331-4331 TDD toll free: 1-800-443-4999 Fax: Fax: 310-468-7800 Web site: www.toyota.com I hope I have ehlped you in some way.
