I can only speak from my personal ordeal. I ordered custom armor to include some needed modifications on my existing in Dec. of 2016. Paid in full ($2,475). As of May 15 2018 have not received anything. I had also sent some of my armor to be modified (3 helms, coat of plates, and shoulder of plates (valued around $2,000) ) and those have not been returned. Daniel Wickstrom fell out of contact with me over a span of 17 months, only responding once after I sent letters. Very disappointed because I have used him (numerous times) in the past and always was very satisfied. I guess people do change. At this point the trust is gone, and I may very well have to seek a legal resolution - Will be contacting Meridian ID police.

I have had more correspondence with Darkheart and have received the equipment (armour) I sent back with the majority of modifications I requested. The 3 helmets had the liners installed and the workmanship is quite good. I think the chin straps I wanted were lost in translation, so I will put them in myself based upon Darkhearts recommendation - not a big deal. I also received my laminar armour with the modifications I requested (less toggles) and my Sode (shoulder armour) back. Again the workmanship is quite good and I will ask about the missing toggles to get a resolution. So far this is good progress and I am happy to have my stuff returned modified (mostly) as we agreed. I have the final Japanese Do, Haidate and Sode armour which are new creations left to be delivered, and I believe he fully intends to complete them. So progress has been made and I am hopefull for a satisfactory resolution to all. I've always like this person and his craftmanship and do hope that all will be righted in the end.
