I have been trying since Sept 28 to get my Cybersonic toothbrush. After countless lies by their customer service people - stories of computers being down and returning phone calls in 24 hours - I decided I would just contact the BBB about them. When I logged on and started searching I found this site. The first thing I realized is that I am not alone in this.

The difference with my story is that I did receive my replacement brushes. I just never got a toothbrush to put them on! And you better believe they charged my credit card! And don't believe that '5 monthly payment' plan either. Apparently they just charge your card whenever they feel like it. On my current credit card statement I have one payment and then another 3 weeks later and then another one after only one week!

I won't even itemize how many times I have called them because it is ridiculous. I even got a supervisor involved and she apologized for the way I had been treated and assured me that my toothbrush would go out immediately. I ask that she call me back with the shipping number as soon as it did. Of course, she said she would but I have yet to receive that phone call.

The bottom line is that these people don't care. They have your money. From what I am reading on this site, I see that my next battle will be to get my money back. I don't even want the toothbrush anymore. And I will be really surprised if they don't keep on charging me for and sending replacement brushes. That leads to another question - If these brushes are supposed to last 3 months, why did they send me 'replacement brushes' one month after my order?

I hope that everyone will do what I did. Report these people and make them stop running those infomercials...

I followed one person's example and filed a complaint with the post office at http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/

You can also report them to the better business bureau that covers their area at http://www.bbbsouthland.org/

I hope that some of these people will help me get my money back but I am doubtful... Good luck to you all.

Just as a last thought - When I called them tonight and waited on hold for close to 20 minutes. When I started telling the guy that another promise of a 24 hour call back was not good enough... he hung up on me!
