This does not surprise me at all and I had hoped that Toyota would have treated you better, but I guess not. I see others have problems with getting extended warranties and tires for life contracts honored by West Herr who took over Culligan's failed business, and even they are not standing behind Toyota purchases.
All the dealings I had with Culligan were terrible and they eventually had the reputation as being crooks and I had wondered how much of that was just their GMC unit and that the Japanese and German portions of their business would offer better service, probably not is my guess. But since they are out of business, something must have worked and I will say I was severely mistreated by them on a basically new Sierra SLT 4x4. They ruined a new truck thanks to botched service, repairs and fluid changes not done as advertised or as instructed, and the list goes on and on. I am glad they went out of business and wished GM went under as well. A shame we had to bail them out. They deserved to go under.
