Ever since the beginning of April a recruiter from CR England, named Hayleigh Pottle had been calling me. Two weeks later she sent me and a friend of mine a bus ticket and we were on our way there April 29, 2007. We left the bus station around 8:00 pm and arrived in Dallas Texas where me and about 30 more people had to stand outside in the heat and wait for about an hour for a shuttle to come and pick us up. The shuttle came and believe me, I was one of the first ones on it, if not the first. The van could only hold about 9 people and the luggage so the guy had to make 3 trips to get everybody. Everyone was suppose to stay ay Knights Inn in Waxahachie, TX. But the first passengers were able to go to a better Motel, because CR England had over-booked the First Motel.

The recruiter told me that we would be making $0.81 a mile. She told me that we would get paid during training. She told me that we would be fed. She told me that the shuttle would be outside at 6:05 am in the morning so that we could make it to school by 7:00 am.

Back to the story. We actually had to wake up at at 4:00am just for the shuttle to take us to the Motel around the corner to wait on a bigger bus. We stood outside waiting on that bus for almost 2 hours. As soon as we got to the facility and sat down, the instructor told us that our recrutiter had lied to us. Everyone looked at each other and said "What the hell?", I was shocked! Then we paid the $50.00 administration fee and after that they told us that we could not get a refund for any reasin. We stayed in class for about 9 hours and only got about 3 5 minute breaks. At 4:00pm we werer let out of class, just to go stand outside and wait on a bus for about 30 minutes. The instructor came out and told us that if we didn't want to go to Wal-Mart, we should stay and wait on the bus to return from dropping the first group of people off.

The bus finally returns and as soon as we sit down he tells us that we HAVE to get off the bus and let the other people on. I didn't get off! There was no way that I was getting off of that bus! We made it to the Motel about 45 minutes later and returned to our rooms. The rooms had not been cleaned at all, we were out of towels, it was just horrible! The next day I bought my own ticket to go home and I left! All I have to say is don't fall for the CR England Scam!

Was very interested in seeing your "complaint" for CR England and the lack of accuracy you've decided to portray for CR England. As an employee of 6 yrs and an extensive knowledge in truck driving and recruiting, I always find it interesting that "truths" are very exaggerated or just plain gross neglect to facts. My biggest surprise was the "promise of being paid $.81 cpm" and that CR England offers meals during the course of their school. (Please visit our website for our posted payscale under "Super Pay") and any truck driving company would agree paying a student or a new company driver $.81 cpm is unheard of and luidicrious to start - BUT we do offer leasing right out of training starting at $.90 cpm (ever better!) which is also almost an exclusive offer England provides to new drivers. We also pay for training once you have graduated from school and one of the most competitive pay rates in the industry! The rest of the information could be close to what actually happened, but I'm sure you'll have to conciede that transferring lots of students back and from hotel to school on time schedules and getting everyone where they need to be is a process. I challenge yourself and any reader of this website to visit our website or feel free to contact the recruiting office in Salt Lake City and we have spelled out what is required for students to start. Asia, you didn't make it past the first day and quit before we issued you a physical and drug screen! You obviously didn't have the commitment nor the attitude we strive to hire as the best and safest drivers on the road.
