Last July 2014, I stayed 3 nights in a Midtown apartment in Hell's Kitchen that Khaled gave me keys to. He claimed that the apartment was one that he and his roommate, Mela, rent out to tourists visiting New York. After putting 2 & 2 together, I realized that the place did not belong to him nor his roommate but he/they acquired it through false documents. In other words, they were making money off of this property but they had no ownership rights whatsoever. The night that I arrived, he tried to have sex with me. When he realized that it wasn't going to happen, he left and never returned. On the last night before my departure, he abruptly contacted me telling me to pack up and leave because he met a woman he wanted to bring to the apartment to have sex with. He pretended that his roommate had a boyfriend that wanted to sleep over, but I knew right away it was just another scheme of his. If I had known all of this from the very beginning, I would have just rented a hotel room which I had initially planned on until he insisted that I stay at this apartment.
Khaled also claimed to be a real estate agent among other things. Later on, I was put in contact with the fat guy he hangs with, Kiyan. Kiyan was defensive and very skeptical from the beginning. I learned that he was sued in court by someone he was in competition with, whom was also running rental scams.
Khaled posts phoney ads all over Facebook looking for "massage girls" to come work at his massage parlor that he no longer has. He had a massage parlor in the east village called Hataplace, where he employed several women in order to have sex with them or the clients that came in. It was basically a front to pick up Russian and Ukrainian women. He used several cell phones to do this as well.
Stay far far away from these guys. They are nothing but trouble and have proven it.
