I got an unsolicited call from a rep from Consolidated Medical Services, alledgedly. Said rep introduced a program he called "I've got coverage", where i could make money in commissions from selling insurance to those without coverage. I was switched to an automated person who explained in detail how the program worked, then switched back to the closer rep. The cost was not so bad, $259.00, plus a monthly web charge of around $30.00.

The problem arose when i said i wanted to think about it, honestly. I further explained that it was nothing personal, but i was naturally suspicious, seeing as the Wall Street money managers have proven to be untrustworthy--for example--and the shadiness of business in this economy. The rep then begans to lose it. He repeats, "What's to think about?". His mere frustration was a red flag.

Maybe this is a true opportunity, but from what i read in a previous "I've got coverage" report, the odds look slim to none.

Just to let you know, Anyone who thinks all businesses are scams and none exist that do well is repulsive. If there was a business that everyone could be good at we would all do it. lets face the fact that if you would to be a part of a successful business like Mcdonalds for say, Are you guaranteed to make money even though your paying a $100,000 fee to have a franchise? Absolutely not. And I am speaking from personal experience, and i was pushed in the same way, and now I thank this company for pushing me to reach the level of making a steady 1500 + a month. And this company has helped me obtain business cards, magnets, postcards and all for the expense of the shipping and that's all. Because unless you wanna put thousands of your own money into a business that can collapse randomly, this is a ultimate low risk of a loss of 30$ which will not make you lose your house at the worse case scenario .

So i took the no obligation opportunity to my advantage, but checking with people making money already in their company to build my confidence that , I could be benefiting other people. SO STROKERS are people that waste peoples time, be telling them let me think about it, my as well just say no, i also understand that there are some liars and ripoffs, but unless you put that past behind you, and will shadow the few good companies that come along . Also after trying opportunities and paying a fee every month, this is the only one that pays for itself, and my first person that bought a plan is a dear friend that is a diabetic , i saved her alone 300$ a month from her high price policy through blue cross. SO if fact did i help a dear friend but my residual commisssion from her plan covers my cost is my business and a 1 yr later i have helped of 7 companies and 75 actively hold a policy with this great company . If you ever heard of "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink" is just like the person who said they were too pushy. MOST people live their life a grind because they are so scared of losing they will never ever win. So how much time and effort did you really put in?? im a mother of 4 and really took it slow until i gained some income just by doing it in places that i have spent money. You wanna try this out, its only a 30$ risk for a new way of life and i was not a believer until i stepped in the door, Thanks again!!

I am not sure what other people are doing out there, but when I was called by Consolidated Medical Services I was not made to think this would be getting me rich overnight, but instead this was something I had to put either time or money into to make work.  Being that I did not have much money I decided to put time in the program.  Three months into my business I am making a profit, and have been because I put the effort into it.  I listened to my marketing specialist, and even made sure I called to ask as many questions as I could.  The first month I made no money, and I was upset, but I know that NO business can bring you your dreams in a month.  I would like to further explore the opportunities in advertising with them when I make more money, but until then I am fine with investing time.  So, you may think the $29.95 is a lot monthly, but when you put the TIME or MONEY in to the business you can see a profit instead of not seeing anything from not putting anything in.  My mother always told me, "You get out of life what you put into it.:

i joined back in april 2009 and till september 2009 didnt have a dime to show for it. untill i started buying leads. now im up to about 200.00 a month in profit from them. its slow going but it is starting to pick up. they are not a get quick rich scheme. its a legit company with a legit product!! it takes patience which lets face it a lot of us online dont have. so unless your willing to spend some money on leads you are not going to make any money. but as far as scammers this company is not. its the first online opportunity that i have actually made money from! im using my profits to buy more leads and keep that commision tree growing!

Response to loser insult

Hello readers.  I am the person who originated the post on the HBB Consolidated Medical Services.  Funny, I am just receiving notice of this response in December of this year, and made the comment way back in February 2009.  My comment stands as it did back then.  More so, with this recent insult.   Recalling back, I think this could be a legitimate opportunity, and as they say, "We live, we learn".

That being said, I still maintain I doubt I'd buy from ANYONE, even if they offered a million dollars in hand, if they don't have the decency to talk to you right.  That was the problem then, and still is.  The guy says that, since I didn't buy into the opportunity, I'm a loser.  AS IF Success is all in his hands.  Is he "God"??  There are many opportunities to make money.  I have tried some of of them.  Trading online-made money.  Vending machines-made money.

Point is, this clown reveals his true character with his insult.  Was not necessary at all.
Could have simply said, "Good day, it's your choice".

This company is a complete ripoff - don't get fooled by them!!

If you speak with anyone named Anthony Fogle from ivegotcoverage.com, know that you are speaking with a smooth talking liar who will promise you anything, as long as it allows them to keep that slow $29.95 month bleed going.

I was looking for a HBB opportunity and they called me to pursue me after I signed up looking for such an opportunity, making myself and official "lead" which they view as "sucker".

I was able to drive some traffic to their site but in the end, after more than a year, it is a losing proposition. Really, they don't promise much. $50 commission on a confirmed sale. The real goldmine here is that you are providing them with ongoing streams of income, from the signups, and also from yourself at $29.95/month. Any confirmed paying customer is worth more than a one-time payment of $50. If anything, they should be providing an ongoing affiliate commission.

The real money, of course, is in selling the opportunity to other "affiliates" (read, "suckers", like myself). For that, ivegotcoverage.com does not provide any opportunity to sell other "suckers" which is where any affiliate programs allow someone to make money.

I called these slimy ivegotcoverage.com sleazebags to cancel my account. The smooth talker I spoke with, someone named Anthony Fogle, promised me that there would be no more charges to my account, but asked me to stay on for 60 days to really try their training. I said "okay" it's 60 days for free. Anthony Fogle from ivegotcoverage.com is a liar. They just posted another charge to my account. Don't believe their lies!

I wish that I'd had the good sense to use the "cash card" that Eva from Honeybrook used so that I could cut them off. Even though I have explicitly asked to no longer by charged and I was promised by Anthony Fogle, a liar, of ivegotcoverage.com, that I would not be charged, I can't get them to stop charging me and taking my money, which is a scam. Don't get hooked by this so-called "opportunity" it is nothing short of a complete scam. All they want is that nice, slow bleed drain on your account at $29.95 per month. ivegotcoverage.com is a scam. If you get a call from someone named Anthony Fogle, know that you will be promised anything, as long as you allow him to keep draining your account.

There are better, more legitimate, opportunities out there. Don't fall for that old sales angle "if you're not serious about making money, stay broke" sales pressure. What they really mean is "if you're not stupid enough to fall for this to make me money, I'll stay broke".

Don't sign up to request info for HBBs, there is no opportunity there, there is no legitimate business. They are lead generation tools who will sell your information to scam artists, such as Anthony Fogle of ivegotcoverage.com. I am still getting calls asking me if I'm looking for a way to make oodles of money from home. I love to take their calls, they are wasting their money on old leads and I love to waste their time.

ivegotcoverage.com is a scam. Athony Fogle is a liar.

In reality, we have to deal with hundreds of people a day who put out a request to work from home, and in the down and dirty of it we have to close people on the idea.  It is a proven fact that when someone says "I want to think about it" we will never hear back from that person.  If a person is serious about making themselves some money then this program DOES work.  Yes, the person on the phone may have come off as a bit pushy, but that is why they are not considered as telemarketers.  And this call was not unsolicited, YOU put out a a request to make more money from home, YOU may not remember doing it, but when you sign your name ona website for information YOU WILL BE CALLED BY NUMEROUS COMPANIES.  So, YOU did request a call from us indirectly wither or not you wish to admit it.  And hey, the way I look at it, if you are not serious about making money then DO NOT ask for information on HBB's, stay broke!

I received a call from the same company, (located in Colorado) Consolidated Medical services/Ivegotcoverage.com - and I had the same thoughts you had: "could be interesting - sure is a need for this, but there are so many scams". I voiced all of this, and also told the caller, a woman, that I would not pay to make money for a company, and that I wasn't really interested anyway. It was me, who wasn't very friendly to this caller who called me at 9pm my time and wanted to sell me one more thing than I needed. I didn't want to slam a door shut before I had opened it, and listened to the recorded sales pitch. I heard about the 29.95 a month for hosting etc, but listened for the setup fee, which always is very high, then would say "no" and go back to what I was doing before the call. The recording did not let me know the setup fee, naturally. I complained! The woman tried hard to reason, but I know enough about the web and websites to rebuttal every excuse she had for a set up fee of $200 + dollars. I laughed at her and told her that she was ridiculous and said that I would hang up now:" you got to be kidding me" was my comment. She said that she really wanted me (hahaha), and made me an offer for the set-up fee. $35.00...instead of $200 + (forgot the exact amount)...Now she had my attention. She wanted to collect the "money" right then and there, but I never pull out my credit card on a whim. I keep a re-loadable cash card for this purpose, so that if I want to cancel a subscription, and scammers try to get another charge from me - there's no money in the account - I learned this "technique" the hard way. I told her that she would have to call me back tomorrow, since I had to load that amount, the one time fee and one month (the $29.95) onto my cash card. She had no issues with that. We made a date for tomorrow at a certain time, and unless something is fishy or I discover something, I will follow through with the purchase. So far so good. I pushed her "buttons" hard, we talked heatedly on top of one another, but I figure she didn't give up, and surely came down in price a whole lot, which I didn't expect. So - my risk is small. I have another half day to research the company, write down more questions, and unless I find a red flag somewhere, I think I'll take the chance. Inexpensive, or reasonably priced Health insurance is very much needed, and the competition is small. I will research the keywords and competition. I imagine they are like a "Lending Tree" for health Insurance providers, but have to verify that, and think that the website is like a lead generations website. If anyone wants to follow this feel free to email me. I hate scams like anyone. My email address is (((ROR redacted))). Feel free to send me an email and I will keep you posted. My web address is (((ROR redacted))) and you can find me on face book and Twitter. I am moving my blog to (((ROR redacted))) under the name of (((ROR redacted)))- as well. Feel free to follow me. So i got the same call actually and signed up as a affilate. Needed it cause i could bring in some extra income and the program sounded pretty easy to do that. The person i talked to there seemed really helpfull and honestly its all is to good to be true really... Well so they did seem really pushy to get me started and well i just didnt have much money but was able to offer me a better price (195) and as well as gave me $300 in free gas. I got the program in and looked over everything and checked with the BBB and everything was pretty simple honestly... i just put up a bunch of flyers and got a decent check a month usually about 6-700 a month and it looks like this will get better cause things builds up over time i guess.
