Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I am interested in joining a class action suit. Tired of the student loan scene and destroyed credit rating balanced by a education that my industry has zero respect or acknowledgment for. I have a great resume and excellent portfolio; I have gotten zero calls based on my education from this school in over ten years. Yes, I said ten years.

When my daughter was raped, I dealt with it a few months, but to shore things up at home with my GPA dropping - I wanted to take a leave of absence for 5 weeks. After I was 2 weeks in on what should have been a shoe-in (my department chair, teachers, admissions reps, everyone approved it), the dean only had to sign off. Well, me in an emotional state, I wrote my request letter and it sounded too angry for him to judge on what it was really asking for - a leave of absence. So, he denied it. Really don't know, why but he did...

Well anyone who knows the schedule can guess what happened next; I was failed-withdrawn. I had already borrowed up to $50,000, so I couldn't borrow more to re-enroll. I couldn't get back in. We had to file bankruptcy in the fallout from the family issue. I tried for 2 years to make it back with frequent visits to the Arizona Cardinals fan reentry coordinator; he is still on my Facebook to this day.

During this time that I tried to get back in, I even had an employer willing to pay the remaining funds until graduation with my BA with stipulations. I then met with the President of the School and the Department Chair and they agreed verbally to reset my track to my employer's requirements. When I showed up to attend, they still had me in my old track and my employer summarily withdrew his support! Always get it in writing, right?

So then, after two years of trying, I gave up. Tired of the student loan phone calls, My wife and I got a second on our house and my wife graciously allowed me to finance part of it for a payoff. In April of 2007, I paid over $27,000 to Sallie Mae in a *lump sum* and Sallie Mae screwed it up somehow. To this day, years later, I still am being pursued by collectors for no less than $36,000. And as I said, my credit is destoryed already. For what?

I only have an AA from them that was quoted at $22500, so I figure I am square on that already. My credits (?) that are in my Bachelor are worthless and non-transferrable - they might as well not exist, because as of February 2014 (?), Collins is closing anyway...  so I really don't care to throw money away trying to make them more than illusory; I wouldn't go back even if they offered me a ride now.

Since I cannot disclose my email address in this report, I will start the Class Action myself if I am not contacted by someone via email from this site within a 30 day window. There are plenty of people on this site alone, so it can't be a fluke that we all experienced this.

Collins College will be closing its doors soon, so we need to get this going. Let's not let these crooks laugh to the bank while leaving us to hold the Sallie Mae bag. Sallie Mae will claim no part in this, which is sad, because they are as guilty having chose to sanction this school to enter into contracts on your behalf with them.

They knew this: The college took all our money and had us borrow more on promises and delivered little in exchange. I sincerely hope a legal professional reads this and gets their act together to help us nail these crooks to the wall. Witnesses won't be an issue; they are everywhere. I am easy to find. So, someone find me.
