You are not handling this correctly at all. Rule #1 - Never attempt to work with them over the phone. DO IT WRITING ONLY Rule #2 always send WRITTEN REQUESTS OF DEBT VALIDATION via certified mail - signature required. You can also send cease communications letters the same way to stop the calls. By law they cannot just demand payment or refuse to send validation. However if you continue as you have been - YOU allow the problem to continue. go to www.ftc.gov and LEARN YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO HANDLE THEM!
