Circuit city came out looked at my 61" sony tv. Said it needed a red tube. paid 79.00 to come out and give the estimate than 350.00 for the new tube and labor. Only worked for 20 days and they had to come back out. Mean time I am only able to talk to csr, from a total different state
Tech comes back out and says it needs a blu2 & green tube and 1 circuit board.He guts my whole TV! Leaves the screen. I call them in two weeks becuase I didn't hear anything back, On hold for 30 minutes! They say they will e- mail the service department. I called back the next day, they said it will cost over 1800.00 It needs 3 circuit boards, and 1 tube. What a difference, I was thinking! This is unreal! So, they give me the run around and say they can't fax anything to my adjuster. Homeowners claim. The service dept. will. Well, after two days of no fax, I am on the hold button again for fourty minutes! Really I am thinking, this is a nightmare!!
Finally after threatening and having to be a b***h! They sent the fax to the adjuster. like what was the big deal? Right? It's a fax!
Haven't rec. my parts back I would never again buy anything from them or have any thing serviced by the,! would you?
To make matters worse I have never rec. a call back from William Turner who is the manager of the tech that came out! I called him long distance three times. Have a phone bill to proove it too!!
