The contract clearly states that if said loan is payed off on time there is no finance charge. Ive done this twice before without problems. I go into there today to payoff the loan and they force me to make the minimum payment which only ten percent of it goes toward the principal amount. Their excuse was their not making enough money and this month their making all clients make the minimum payment. which they profit 90% off of.
I asked the women if this was in the contract and she said it was. I went home to review the contract and nowhere does it say this can be done. So I go to their website and nowhere does it say on there either.

W. Allan Jones of Check Into Cash "fame" is a known racist, pure and simple. He exploits the poor, the overworked, and minorities. What a classless buffoon. Read this for a jaw-dropping example of W. Allan Jones' attitude about race:

W. Allan Jones claims he was "misquoted" and had his words "twisted," but come on! I don't think so.
Mr. Jones doesn't mind taking our money through Check Into Cash, he just doesn't want too many of us to move to his precious hometown of Cleveland, Tennessee.
Don't give this jerk another penny. There are plenty of good payday lenders out there not run by racist bigots like W. Allan Jones.

Y'all, if you want to avoid this trouble in the future, just stay away from W. Allan Jones' Check Into Cash and Jones Management. This place us a corrupt disaster. There is no honor among thieves. Also, when you vote remember that it was Senator Bob Corker who lobbied for W. Allan Jones' Check Into Cash and other payday lenders.

I use check Into Cash once in a while. The older contracts did stipulate that you only had a 24 hour window after the loan to pay back in order to avoid an interest charge. BUT, starting back in the summer, those rules changed after the state of Virginia put limits on payday advance lenders. Since then the rule has been that as long as you pay the balance in full on or before the due date, you pay NO INTEREST. The original complaint was correct. Payday lenders used to be able to make a killing in Virginia, but as long as they are paid back within a month's time, they don't make anything off the consumer now.

I was a manager at Check Into Cash. Our contract states that there will be no finance fee, only if the loan is paid in full within 24 hours of the original loan. Once 24 hours has passed after the loan, finance fees are applied.
