Cheaptickets aka Lodging ripoff scam 25.00-35.00 fees for cancellation, doesn't tell you upfront!! Internet
I recently used cheaptickets.com for hotel reservations for my family, as you make your way through the reservations screens, there is a notice of a five dollar fee for reservations, but never is there one that says upon cancellation you are to pay 25.00 if you cancel online, which by the way their website will not allow you to cancel. They keep giving an error message!! But if you call their joke of a customer service, you will get the spiel about how it costs an extra 10.00 to cancel with an agent!!! Sso, you spend 35.00, plus the 5.00 reservation fee, when you can call the hotel directly and get a better rate!!!
These scam companies are a rip-off. They need to be shut down. They are a nuisance to searching for legitimate hotels also just try putting a search out for a hotel, you will get all these scamming companies charging fees for free services!! BEWARE
