carhistory.org cardataonline.com free vin report search free vin report, got taken to carhistory.org. On the pay page it says 1 dollar for the vin report. After getting the report I noticed they charged me 18.95 and set me up for a monthly subscription. Total ripoff.
They advertise a 1 dollar VIN report then charge you 18.95 for a monthly subsctription. The page where you pay has no option for signing up for a monthly membership.
The report did not even show my accident I know the vehicle was involved in. Total Ripoff! deceiving web site
