Capital One Auto Finance I sent in a payment to Capital One Auto Finance using money gram and they will not post it to my account. This happened on 12/18/08 and to this day they keep giving me the runaround and have yet to post it. Every time I call they tell me they will submit the information to the "operations" department. I sent a payment to Capital One Auto Finance using money gram and they have not posted it to my account. This happened on 12/18/08 and now 2 months later it is still not posted! Every time I call I get told by their customer service reps that they will submit the information to their "operations" department and that someone from that department will contact me in 72 hours but but have never done so and it is almost 2 months later.
I have faxed them proof of payment and they still won't post it. They tell me they found it and verified the payment but they still won't post it to my account. Every time I call and ask to speak to someone in this "operations" department they refuse to transfer me and tell me the "operations" department does not handle phone calls but that for sure someone will call me back and they will resend them a note.
I have been hearing the same lame excuse from them for a long time now and call them on a daily basis to get my payment posted but have not gotten anywhere. Why will they not post a payment that they already have to my account? They do however call me immediatly if I am late with my payment and threaten to come get my car. I think this company takes advantage of people and keeps payments but refuses to post them to the account which is the same as stealing. I regret ever using them to finance my car loan and will never do business with them again they are thieves!
