Today I received a letter from CCA saying that I was preapproved for a $6500.00 credit line and cash on-demand with no interest. They claim "fast cash without any service fees." The only thing that looked genuine about the whole subject was the card.
The credit card itself was already enclosed with the letter and all I have to do is call their number to activate the card.
Fortunately, I got on the internet to check it out and the search links brought me to Rip-off Report.com. After reading what these other people have gone through, I will certainly destroy the card. How they got my name and address I do not know. I will most certainly be calling my bank to make sure CCA does not try to take any money out of my account (which would be without my approval).
Thank-you Rip-off Report for being here. Obviously, I have been spared a lot of time, trouble and money.
To those of you who have already been ripped off by these people, I can only say..if there is a next time, remember to read any suspicious offers thoroughly and check it out on the web before taking any action. Remember the adage, "if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is." (too good to be true)
