Complaint Review: Build 4U Dan Smith Daniel J Smith - Buderim Queensland

Build 4U Brisbane is getting desperate! Not only do they employ unregistered builders (e.g. Dan Smith) to run their sites, they have now stooped to lying about the various works they have completed attempting to lure unsuspecting clients into their net of lies and deceit and ultimately despair. Case in point if you visit their various social media pages at facebook/build4ubrisbane/ and the related Instagram page you will find various photographs listed - Build 4U Brisbane has not built ANY of these properties. For example one property in Bulimba was built by the deregistered builder Dan Smith (with stolen goods) and then seized from Smith's wife Sasha to repay debts owed to various employees, the ATO and Smith's former accountant. There's another picture listed of a property at 158 Heal Street, New Farm that was built by Smith's now defunct RICC Group. So shoddy was the works conducted by Smith's then company (the RICC Group) at Heal Street that the property was ultimately condemned and had to be torn down.

Build 4U Brisbane is simply a front for Dan Smith to continue working in the construction industry after being banned by the building authority after failed companies DJ Smith Construction Pty. Ltd. the RICC Group Pty. Ltd. and then 24/7 Building and Maintenance Pty. Ltd. - all Smith building companies that have failed due to financial non-compliance (not paying workers, suppliers, employees, sub-contractors, etc.) or defective works. Watch what happens when Smith's wife (Sasha) is dragged into court as the "director" of 24/7 Building and Maintenance by ASIC and the ATO, all because Dan has thrown her under the bus. Do not engage with Build 4U either in Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast - search the QBSA website for information on Daniel J Smith (Dan Smith) and his various "building" companies - DJ Smith Construction Pty. Ltd, the RICC Group and 24-7 Building and Maintenance - they are all the same as Build 4U and if you get involved with them, you'll end up with defective works that will cost you thousands of dollars to have repaired whilst Dan Smith moves onto his next scam

Just when you thought Dan Smith couldn't stoop any lower we find out that he can - he recently threw his wife (Sasha) under the bus - that's what she told the boys and I when we came around for our weekly "catch up" with her, while Smith is out, at Smith's Curtis Street rented apartment in Norman Park. Smith's former accountant James Whitelaw has reported Smith and 24/7 Building and Maintenance Pty Ltd to ASIC and the matter was bought before the courts. As Smith (a multiple bankrupt) can't be the director of a company and Sasha was installed as the puppet director, she is now liable for the debts of the company and has been told to produce company financials to the court (which naturally they don't have), by July 12th 2018. James Whitelaw has seized the property Smith was purporting to be his in Stuart Street Bulimba - the one he was building with stolen materials. The upshot of all of this is dire straits for Sasha, an employee of the National Australia Bank to whom she falsified documents as to the financial position of 24/7 Building and Maintenance Pty. Ltd. She could find herself in a real legal mess whilst her "husband" sits back and watches - what a man. Meanwhile Smith struts around as a "site manager" for Build 4U Brisbane - why on earth Dougal still employees this parasite to the detriment of his company is anyone's guess and Ian Currie (the administrator) continues to chase both Danny boy and slippery Sasha (or at least she was the other night when the boys and I got through with her...........apparently Dan is incapable of such services) for the monies owed to us previous employees, as well as suppliers and contractors. The Smith's days of obtaining funds by deception are limited now the courts and ASIC are on their case.

Daniel J Smith (Dan Smith) is at it again!

After being banned as a builder after being a director of DJ Smith Construction Pty. Ltd., then the RICC Group and most lately as a “shadow” director of 24-7 Building and Maintenance Pty. Ltd. Daniel J Smith is back and working in a supervisory capacity for Build 4 U Murarrie.

Dan Smith is currently being chased by liquidators (please see attached documentation verifying this), as well as former employees for failure to pay superannuation fees as well as the Australian Tax Office.

Not being allowed to be a company director – because he’s a multiple bankrupt – Dan Smith threw his wife Sasha under the bus, installing her as a “director” of 24-7 Building and Maintenance Pty. Ltd. and running it into the ground with debts owed throughout South East Queensland.

The QBCC has (repeatedly) banned Dan Smith from being a “person of interest” in a building company for defective building works and financial non-compliance, but he keeps popping up, his latest incarnation as an “employee” of Build 4 U – Brisbane located at 33 Queensport Road South Murarrie – see website: https://australiabusinessinfo.com/build4ubrisbane
