I bought a 2003 Jaguar in September of 2009 from Brandon Mosley at Mosley Motors. We paid him $11,000.00 CASH !. The first thing we noticed was when we tried to put gas in the car, it keep cutting off the pump with back presure and we notice a grinding noise coming from the right rear of the car. He said this was the wheel bearings and they need to be adjusted. I called Brandon and he came and picked up the car, took it to a repair shop and they said they replaced the gas tank and adjusted the wheel bearings. When we got the car back, we kept hearing the gringing noise from the rear, so we took it to the local Jaguar dealer in Nashville, Tennessee and had them replace the wheel bearings and service the transmission. When we picked up the car from the Jaguar dealer, he presented me with a bill for $3180.00 he informed me that the transmission was bad. He said they could put one in for around $8000.00. We checked around and found a transmission shop that could rebuild a ZF Transmission. The bill for rebuilding the transmission was $5500.00 plus TN. sales tax. Up to this point, we had not received our title from Mosley Motors. They keep telling me that they were trying to get it from the bank he did business with. After a month of this, we did get our title and there was no room left on the back of the title to sign it over to me. This car had been on so many dealers lots and resold at the auction sales for car dealers, they used up all the places to reassign a title. When we bought the car, Mosley Motors had a Car Fax for this car and it did not show any of the dealers.  Apparently if the car is not retitled to a consumer, it does not go on the CarFax report.  Mr. Mosley offered to help us with the repair bills by giving us $300-400 if we would send him copies of all the repairs.  We did this and have not heard from him since.  He apparently has left his dealership even though it still carries his name and is not working for Jim Reed Chevrolet in Nashville.  This lets you know not only can you not trust Mr. Mosely or his dealership but you cannot trust CarFax either. $9000.00 later in repairs, we are still haveing problems with this car !
