This may not be BMG doing this at all. I had some shady 'company' named 'Tahkar' trying to say I owed BMG money when I have never ever done business with them. Alot of people got the same calls. Somehow, we all had the exact same 'file number'. Now how could that be if we were all different individuals? It just reeks of scam.

with the credit reporting agencies. If BMG cannot prove this is a valid debt within 30 days, by law the items have to be removed. I have done this myself in the past with several fraudulent items that were added to my credit report. Good LUck.
