On April 4, 2004, I ordered Comfortex Blinds at a cost of $1396.89. From Blindsgalore.com. (I had ordered from them before and had not had trouble so I did not hesitate with this rather large order.) It was billed to my American Express credit card on the same day to "Austin Dunn", Las Vegas, NV.

When I did not receive my order by April 21st, I called Blindsgalore.com. at 1-877-702-5463. They have a recording on their phone to the effect that in an effort to better serve their customers, they are "upgrading their system" and that the work will be completed as soon as possible. One week later, today, April 27th and I get the same message.

Meanwhile, the same message plays (different voice) at Austin & Dunn, EZBLINDS.COM and no one answers at headquarters, QVDS. Comfortex will not release any information to me telling me I must deal with Blindsgalore.com. They will not even tell me if they are having trouble with the company. When I asked them how I could find out from Blindsgalore.com if they will not answer the phone, the Comfortex Customer Service Rep hung up on me. American Express told me that it takes 4-6 weeks to investigate and all they will do is get the company to send my order or refund my money. Fat chance I have. I hope others have not had the same bitter experience that I have had.
