I know exactly what bundles you are talking about and it seems to me like it was so hectic inside the store that day(of course) that because the boxes for those 2 hp laptops are almost identical and they had them stacked up in piles they gave you the wrong one. You should have been paying attention to what you were being rung up for and made sure that it came out to the $599 Those black Friday bundles package out once we hit "total" and the anti virus will still be like $20 on the receipt, but it doesn't matter as long as it is the correct total price, because they scanned the wrong laptop it did not package out and so the anti virus and the printer were regular price.we do offer the geek squad services on all the laptops we sell and you must have said yes to it without even realizing. it seems to me like you would benefit from the optimization and restore cd's that you were charged since you dont seem to know what the heck they are or why they are beneficial. the Standard Security and performance is a package where geek squad will peform an optimization on the computer and install the security software if you had not gotten the optimization on the computers you would of had to take them home and spend hours doing a lot of work on them to get them ready to go. The tickets dont mean anything, they are just so that the people waiting in line for hours get what they came for guaranteed(assuming it is rung up right) and no riots break out.(like at walmart) It would not have helped you if they found the ticket or not. whoever rang up the transaction made a simple mistake(scan the wrong box), but at the same time you really should be paying attention to what the total was and what it should of been and if you didn't understand the Geek Squad services you should have refused them or asked them to explain them better to you.

This sounds like a situation where you got upsold somehow. Not sure what happened but I would guess it is as much your fault as it is their fault. Also Best Buy had every right to tell people to not sit on the appliances. Some of us buy open box items like that and crazy as it may seem we would rather not buy them with someone's butt print in them. As for the coat thing. I take the middle ground here. It looked like stealing and that you freaked out and went back to pay. Best Buy is fairly self serve when it comes to putting small items on the register to be rang up so anything missed in this case was 100% your fault. The yellow shirts job is to stop shoplifters.
