Bank of America Doing Bad Business
I recently went through a divorce. According to our Marital Dissolution Agreement, all proceeds on the house belong to the Husband.
Bank of America Mortgage sent the proceed check made out to both me and my ex-wife. I called Bank of America Mortgage about this issue, and they told me to send the check back with another copy of my divorce papers. After doing this, they said they would issue me another check. Instead, they sent me a letter requesting a copy of a deed that shows my ex-wife signing the deed over to me.
We both signed the closing documents when we sold the house to another couple. Bank of America knows for a fact that there is not a deed showing that my ex-wife signed the deed over to me.
Bank of America has been known for doing wrong on many occasions. Please do not ever get a mortgage through Bank of America. They only exist to steal your money.
