Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My husband and I took our cat into the vet yesterday which was May 2, 2005 for her vaccinations that she was due for.

Our cat is now 2 years old and when she had her first rounds of vaccinations when she was younger, we found out she was a vaccine reactor. The vet in the office at that time flagged her file and also said that it was best to do her shots in rounds so she didn't have such a bad reaction. The vet gave her a shot of Diphenhydramine which helped her with the bad reaction she was having and she was back to normal. She told us about using 1/2 teaspoon orally of liquid Bendaryl if her symptons persisted. The clinic followed up with us the next day just to check on our cat and she how she was and I was totally impressed.

Now, I am VERY angry and very perturbed with the new vet who is at this clinic and I advise all people who have animals to NOT take their pet to this vet. We took her in and I explained to the vet that she was a vaccine reactor and he simply said "Oh she will be fine, she is a bigger kitty now and she won't react and if she does, all you have to do is give her bendaryl." I thought it was very dismissive and very uncaring.

I SPECIFICALLY TOLD him she WAS a vaccine reactor and he totally dismissed it. All he cared about was getting the vaccines administered and moving on. My cat was very distressed and upset about going to the vet and I am very glad she scratched him. I even warned him when he came in the door that she was "Pissed off".

Now here I am the following morning and my cat is very lethargic, can't keep her eyes open and she is very weak. I refuse to take her back to the vet clinic because I don't want this vet to ever see her again. These are the reactions she had previously and I SPECIFICALLY TOLD the vet she was a vaccine reactor. If anyone has an animal, then they would know how it breaks your heart to see your animal sick, in pain, or suffering. Please, protect your pet and do not take them to this vet. The other staff at the clinic are very nice and helpful, but do not I repeat DO NOT let this vet see your animal.
