On June 24th, I used priceline.com to rent a car ! I did not chose Avis as my favorite company either ! priceline.com did ! In the contract I will fill up the car as I returned the vehicle ! On July 1st I fill up the renting vehicle and drove to LAX to returnn the car at 10 AM. my renting contract is 230792435. When I arrived to Avis , there was absolutely no attendant on the site presented to accept the return, and everyone have to leave the car with keys and hop to the bus back to the Airport - approximately around 30-40 cars was there returned.

On July the 15, 2014 Avis charged on my credit card the amount of $36.65 ! I disputed the charged with my credit card company ! and they found out with Avis about the charge, Avis said it was for Gas.

I called their customer services to query about the bill, they offered $15 credit for me to stop the query, I declined. I requested to transfer my call to AVIS-LAX manager to query about the charged ! after a lenghtly time I waited on the phone, I got talking to her assistant ! I request to know why on July 1st , there was no attendant presented to accept the return of the vehicle and give me the final bill, which i was always get when I rented a car at any places in the US. Her assistant talked to the manager, her name was Viola and she said she will remove the charge. After 2 weeks I saw the charge was credit back to my account was $26.65 ( $10.00 less for the original charged).  I called them again ! the customer service said that he will leave the note on the Manger desk about the situation. then I waited for another 2 weeks of waiting ! I still did not see the $10.00 credeit on my account ! I called againn to LAX site , waited 15-20 minutes on the line, somebody pickup and when i aske to talk to the manager, they put me on hold then hang up the phone after 10 minutes. It was very rude of the big Company like AVIS doing such a thing !!!

It was bad most of the rental cars companies is conducting the shady type businesses, I had a similar problem at LAX with HERZT on Insurance liability !! why it always happened on the LAX site ???? they think with a lot of tourists they could easily rip off ???? I fought it just for the principle, and do not want it to happen to anyone !!

I'd like to know if they are in the car renting business or in the rip off business as they did to me.

Watch out people when you rent a car ! make sure you take a picture with your phone before and after to protect yourself. I wish that I did ! so I don't have to deal with those dishonest businesses Like AVIS, HERZT.

And I used VISA ! and they didn't do much to protect me ! I have to fight it myself ! I should use American Express ! they are the best, and they did a lots to protect the small customer like me.
